Galvashield® CC embedded galvanic anode units are used to control on-going corrosion and to prevent the initiation of new corrosion activity in reinforced concrete structures. GALVASHIELD CC is a discreet galvanic anode embedded within a specially formulated cementitious mortar, used to control corrosion in sound but contaminated concrete.

Corrosion Control Overview

Corrosion control products are used to galvanically protect steel reinforcement and thereby avoid future problems associated with the formation of incipient anodes. These products actively resist corrosion within the confines of the repair location and avoid the generation of incipient anodes in immediately adjacent locations.
