Galvashield XP range of embedded galvanic anode units utilize an innovative zinc anode core design surrounded by an enhanced formulated cement-based mortar to provide corrosion mitigation to reinforced concrete structures. GALVASHIELD XP is a sacrificial metal anode embedded within a specially formulated cementitious mortar, which prevents incipient anode induced corrosion around the boundary of patch repairs.

Corrosion Control Overview

Corrosion control products are used to galvanically protect steel reinforcement and thereby avoid future problems associated with the formation of incipient anodes. These products actively resist corrosion within the confines of the repair location and avoid the generation of incipient anodes in immediately adjacent locations.
