Errosion Control Blankets Overview

Erosion control blankets are ideal erosion control products for the short-term challenge of establishing vegetation in low to moderate erosion applications. Unlike loose fibre mulches, an erosion control blanket gives your project dimensional stability, locking seed and soil in place and protecting seedlings to promote faster vegetation growth and a stronger root system. Erosion control blankets are easy to install and are designed to degrade over specific periods of time depending on application requirements and project location. These geo textile solutions are comprised of either straw and/or coconut fibres or polypropylene yarns and fibres.

LandLok Turf Reinforcement Mats

The industry’s most advanced solutions for applications requiring immediate, long-term erosion protection, vegetative reinforcement and water quality enhancement capabilities.

LandLok 450 LandLook 10511st Generation TMR's are constructed of a dense web of 100% polypropylene fibres positioned between 2 biaxially oriented nets. When vegetated, they provide twice the erosion protection of vegetation alone.
LandLok 3002nd Generation netless composite-free, three dimensional TMR that features a rugged material construction that combines superior tensile strength, flexibility and UV stability

Reinforcement Mats Overview

Reinforcement Mats are equipped to handle the most demanding erosion control, vegetative reinforcement and water quality enhancement. Reinforcement mats are made of a dense web of 100 % polypropylene fibres positioned between two biaxially oriented nets. When vegetated, they provide twice the erosion protection of vegetation alone.

Pyramat High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mats

Pyramat Pyramat feature patented woven technology composed of a unique, three dimensional matrix of polypropylene yarns. They are designed in a uniform, dimensionally stable and homogenous configuration of pyramid-like structures and they feature patented X3 fibre technology specially created to lock soil in place.

Woven Geotextiles Overview

Woven geotextiles filters soils, distributes loads, reduce rutting and extends the life of paved and unpaved roadways. Made from individual yarns woven together to provide dimensionally stable geotextiles, they are resistant to ultraviolet (UV) degradation and to biological and chemical environments normally found in soils.

Nonwoven Geotextiles Overview

Nonwoven Geotextiles are needle punched to form a strong fabric that retains its dimensional stability, adding years to the life of any roadway, railroad, landfill or civil / environmental engineering project.

  • These lightweight fabrics are typically used in underdrain systems to prevent soils from entering the drainage system. They can also be used as a spearator under pavers and driveways.
  • These medium weight fabrics are typically used under riprap to limit the loss of fines in slope and non-critical shoreline applications, or when site specific soil samples reveal well-graded particle conditions. They can also be used as separators under parking lots and roadways.
